1. What do the recent changes really mean?
On Friday 7th January, the need for pre-departure PCR tests and isolation to enter the United Kingdom from overseas were cancelled for fully vaccinated travellers.
The requirement to self-isolate on arrival until receiving a negative PCR test result was also removed. Instead, travellers can take a lateral flow test on day two and don’t need to isolate if the test is negative.
This means that as long as you are fully vaccinated, going away and getting back into the UK couldn’t be more simple. What you need to do before going on holiday is determined by the country you’re visiting, and our team are here to guide you through all the options to find the right option to you.
In essence, 2022 is set to be the year of the holiday! We’re already seeing a surge in bookings since the news and can’t wait to help make these dreams come true for our customers.
2. What are the benefits of booking with us?

Additionally, as confidence returned in 2021, we’ve seen more people booking a holiday with the wow factor. As a result, people are spending more on luxury upgrades, longer holidays, and more expensive destinations, all of which make long-haul destinations more popular than ever. Remote barefoot island experiences also feel very safe. By their exclusive nature, people aren’t in with the masses, which is why the Maldives has been a popular choice.
Having said that, the turn of the year has seen a real focus on people booking ahead for summer 2022, and this has particularly been the case since this week’s restrictions update. Destinations such as Greece, Portugal and Italy are all proving popular short-haul choices for those looking to make the most of their summer break!
